The students will create a children's book that explains the difference between weather and climate. This book is designed to be for kids age 5-8 years old. The book needs to use vocabulary appropriate for that age, while explaining the difference.

Students must create a model of a plant or animal cell that accurately represents the parts that help the cell function. The model is of the student's creation and needs to demonstrate the student's understanding of cell organelles. There are ideas for what the model can look like on the other attached sheet.

Write an MLA style research paper over the reading of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. The paper must be a minimum of three pages typed paper, double-spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least the book and other methods used researching the paper. Quotes cannot be more than 5 lines. You are encouraged to interject your personal opinion into this paper.

Model Plate Tectonics Theory with vocabulary and diagrams. Include: the 3 plate boundaries, subduction, mountain-building, Seafloor spreading, Mid-Ocean Ridge, Convection currents/mantle. Label each plate clearly. Also include a timeline and important information to know about this theory.

In this project, you and your partners will think of a school problem that we identified in our school energy and Go Green Audit. This idea must be possible but also realistic to our district and its financial budget. You will create a presentation to persuade the school board as to why we should invest in your project! This project will include realistic costs for all materials and labor as well as space required and finally what the added benefit is to our community/school.

Submit a 2 page typed paper on your personal view point as to when life begins, double spaced, 12 point font, times new roman. Include a bibliography citing at least 3 resources used researching the paper. One of them can be the website I provided. (These are not part of the 2 pages!!!) Paper will be graded on quality of research, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, bibliography, punctuality and rubric inclusion.

Student create a presentation, skit or video describing Newton's Three Laws of Motion. Your project must include the description of Newton's 3 Laws of Motion and at least 2 videos that accurately represent each of the Laws of Motion (6 videos in total) along with a short description on how each video represents the law. The videos that you find can not be instructional videos, but rather videos of normal, everyday things that can be used as examples of Newton's three laws.

Students create a presentation for a self-selected neurological condition.

Students will work in groups to create a presentation for a compost campaign that is beginning at the high school. Students will create awareness to our new program and why it is important to compost our waste. The presentation will also cover what can and can not be placed in the composter.

Research two different presidential candidates for the 2016 election. Your job is to research the 6 environmental platforms that we on isidewith.com and state, without biases, where they stand.

Project; choose three natural disaster that was caused by the movement of tectonic plates. You will choose a specific volcano, earthquake, and a tsunami. You will prepare a presentation in which you explain what it is, how it occurred, what plates and types of boundaries caused the disaster. Your presentation will also include the financial damage done to the area and will require a minimum of three pictures per seismic event.

Students have been learning about the ABCD of moles and skin cancer. This project will include a catchy slogan as well as information on how to stay safe in the sun. Finally the project will raise awarness of the ABCD's of skin care.

The students will put together a google presentation to show their knowledge of how a particular earthquake impacted the location. The presentation will contain information and pictures that the students collected regarding earthquakes based on library/internet research. In partners, student will research a earthquake from history and explain its impact on the area both biologically and economically. Presentation can not be longer than 2 1/2 minutes.

The project is to develop a power point presentation describing an assigned disease. The requirements include; what is the disease; cause; signs and symptoms; treatment; prognosis; prevention; foundations dedicated to research about the disease; and well known people who suffer from the disease. Include 5 appropriate graphics/pictures. Also include a title slide and a works cited/reference slide with at least 3 sources.

Students will create their own EM spectrum, providing insight into the practical uses of each band. Afterward, they will share their creation with the class and write a response that describes how their project is an accurate model of the Electromagnetic Spectrum.

Students needed to write and illustrate a description of a product of their choice and in the style of a children's book detail how raw products become a finished one. The book should follow at least one ingredient on a journey to be a part of their final project. The book needs to be illustrated in color.

You will create at least 3 FAKE Facebook profiles for 3 or more historical figures from the list I provided to you. These will then be posted around the room.

Rubric for evaluating Ecology Project Presentation

Students will conduct a life cycle analysis on a product and calculate the full cost of the effect of the product's life cycle on the health of humans, our communities, our economies and the natural systems.

This assessment provides students with the opportunity to express their knowledge about rocks as mineral mixtures through a choice of modalities. Students had the opportunity to choose any one of the following options: Rock Cycle Picture Collage, a Rock Wanted/Missing Poster, a poem, a rap song, a diary entry of a rock traveling through the rock cycle, a mobile of the three types of rocks, or a comic strip of a rock traveling through the rock cycle.
