Mon Pays francophone (My French speaking Country) . You will choose a French speaking country and create a PowerPoint highlighting the country in French. It should be mostly visual with brief, two to three or three to four sentence explanations of each picture/slide.

Include: country name in French & English, total population, capital city, current president/leader (king), national holiday, flag, and map (YOUR MAP MUST BE PRINTED). Include at least 5 places of interest (tourist attractions) and at least 5 reasons the country is famous. Write a 7-10 sentence paragraph explaining why this is an ideal vacation destination. Use at least 4 pictures and color to make your brochure attractive.

Research and prepare a French dish to be shared. Provide a list of ingredients in French ), provide the quantities in French, provide the recipe directions in French (use imperative form of verbs and partitive articles)

Students will create an 11"x17" illustration OR seven-slide presentation of their family tree, using pictures of their family and labeling family members as indicated by rubric (see "Presentation."). Your family tree will include at least 5 family members and one (of course) can be a pet! Also, one picture and description will be of you! You will introduce yourself and describe two members of your family tree, including name and age to the class (in French, of course).

Students will create an advertisement for their product using persuasive details, color, images, advertising techniques, and good adjectives. Choose HOW you want to market your target audience. Decide how best you can persuade those buyers to purchase your product. This can be made in the form of a magazine ad, a newspaper ad, or a poster. *Extra Credit for commercials and making the product you are selling.*

You will work in small groups to design a poster for display using the subway art format to advertise a product or service using the mythology theme. The poster needs to contain important information related to Mythology. You will provide pictures and advertising techniques in a creative and colorful poster displaying a mythological creature or god/goddess with individual/pictures or following a mythology theme. The poster will be designed on large subway art paper.

Choose a landmark or tourist attraction from the United States of America. Create a "postcard" for this place. The front of the card should illustrate the attraction - like a postcard. On the back, write and address your postcard to a family member, telling them about this place you've "visited" and why they should visit it too. Be sure to use relevant and accurate facts about your landmark/attraction.

Students will create a comic strip of 6 different frames that depict vocabulary and grammar learned from Chapter 5. Each frame must include:Minimum of two lines, correct grammar and spelling, and use vocabulary and grammar acquired from Chapter 5.

Reading aloud a French story. This is intended for a beginner French level class. It is also used with the AIM method of teaching French.

This is a final project for French class. You will be writing a children's book in French using the vocabulary you have learned this year. The 'book' must be at least 10 pages long and have 1 sentence per page. Each 'page' must be illustrated in color. The book must have a cover with a title and author.

Students will choose a country to visit. They will plan their trip and maintain a budget of $5,000 including all travel, lodging, meals, and entertainment. They will present their project as an itinerary/budget.

Student must create a travel poster for a destination of choice and suggest an itinerary with flight information, lodging information, currency and exchange rate, location and description,and typical foods. Students will need to include information about fun things to do, typical weather and temperatures, and a picture of the flag if it's a foreign country. All information must be in Spanish.

You are creating a menu for a French restaurant. You need to think of a French name for your restaurant, create different sections for your menu, include food/drink vocabulary, and develop prices.

You are creating a cafe or restuarant in Quebec. You must give your cafe a name (in French) and create the menu entirely in French with some English translations. Include prices as well. Menu's size must be minimum 8.5X11.

You are creating restaurant for a new restaurant in France. You must give your restaurant a name (in French) create the menu entirely in French, and create a virtual restaurant using Google Sketchup, or something similar. Your restaurant must have a dialogue of french speaking customers and visuals of labeled French food.

Write a friendly letter. Remember to correctly use and punctuate all the parts of the friendly letter.

Students will write a letter to Santa using a greeting, body, salutation and signature.
