Students will use 5 literary devices to write. Students were given 100 writing prompts and allowed to choose any one as inspiration to write a creative piece.

Plan: This rubric is designed to supplement the application of readings on short story genres that students must implement into their creative work submissions. Students are expected to meet requirements that exemplify the skills learned in class to create a compelling and well-organized fictional narrative. The rubric is in regards to MLA written forms of English, as well as respecting privacy and copyright law when working with creative works meant for submission.

A Rubric to Evaluate Students' Oral Reading Fluency

You will be put into groups and asked to create a short role play based on your assigned accident scenario. After creating a short role play, your group will then perform your role play to a class.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the theme of Bullying/"Look At Me, I'm Drug Free"/Anti-Smoking. Students will provide bullying scenarios and demonstrate bullying mediation techniques in a creative and colorful poster/pictures or scenarios displaying a "Drug Free" individual/pictures or scenarios following a anti-smoking theme. The poster will be designed on poster board (1/2 or full-sized poster board).
