The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary of a visit to the doctor, and the inclusion of both current and previous grammar points covered. Students create a senario with a medical situation that requires a visit to/from the doctor. The partnership is responsible for choosing either the role of doctor or patient, developing a dialogue and any props needed.

Students will create a brief skit about shopping all in Mandarin.

Mandarin 3H and AP students will be working with a group of 4 to complete a cooking demonstration. Each student will be divided into several working area to complete group project.

Student will present their family by using pictures of their family members. The pictures need to be labeled with the correct Chinese kinship terms and their relationships to student. The members are limited to the student's immediate family only: grandparents, parents (and stepparents) self and siblings. the following items are required: 1. each family member 's relation ship to speaker. 2. nationality and occupation 3. things they like/dislike such as color, food items.

Students work in groups of 3 to create food plates for each meal of the day, design a menu, and present their meals and menu to the class.

This is a performance task assignment that each student is required to present their idea if he/ she were the president. Students need to provide persuasive argument about being President. There is no limit on the supporting visual aid. movie. power point or muisc etc. Students must talk 5 minutes in Mandarin.

This rubric will be used to evaluate student work for the "If I Were a....." project involving ratios and proportions.

You are a builder, designer or realtor for your client. You are required to complete a 5 minutes presentation about a designed floor plan. Your peers will all be your clients to evaluate and ask question regarding your design. Students will need to begin with a floor plan and then use the floor plan as a guide to finish your presentation.

Create a commercial using a target language ( Mandarin). Due on 09/21/2016 You will be present your commercial to your peers and teacher for your final grade. Presentation must be upload to video format share with teacher in Google drive or schoology assignment

Prepare a 天气预报 ( 天氣預報)broadcast video to present in class!

You will explain to your peers why you purchased the item from this store instead of other store. Careful choose your vocabulary and describe your purchased item to your peers.
