• REWRITE SCENE (5 points): This should be a brief description of what sort of change you will be making to the play. It is essentially the concept statement. * DESIGN SCENE (25 points ) : Using creative methods to find a way to present your ideas on the different elements of design. There should be a Set, Costume, Light, and Sound Designer. Show us some images of your design ideas. Sound, we should hear some clips.

• REWRITE SCENE (20 points): Choose one scene from the play and rewrite the scene (in play format) but with your own dialogue. Your scene must be at least two pages in length and must fit within your changed scene.

Students read a given script to gather information about the set demands. Using this information, students design and create a 2D model of the set using a floor plan and background materials.

This rubric goes over the basics of making sure your resume looks good for your in-class audition.

The student will perform a one minute monologue from a published play.
