This Rubric will assess your performance in bringing together research and designing a poster depicting the routes that the explorers in your assigned nation travelled to the New World. Included in this project will be biographies of the individual explorers.

This Rubric will assess your performance in bringing together research and designing a poster depicting the routes that the explorers travelled to within Australia. Included in this project will be biographies of the individual explorers, especially the reasons behind their explorations and their noted achievements. A bibliography is to be included. A poster with detailed information on the route taken is to be included.

Students are to research important events that took place during the War of 1812. They are to use websites provided to complete the timeline. The timeline must have a 9 events listed. Each event must have the name of the event, it's date, it's location, a description of the events importance / significance.

The student will design and construct a totem pole using symbols or images that represent his/her characteristics. The symbols or images presented must be accompanied by a paragraph that explains each of the four images or symbols.
