Assessment of actor's performance in a play

You are to create a short Commedia Performance in groups of 4-5. You will be given themes to use as a start for creating your scenes (Commedia is mostly Improv, so use your imagination and don't rely too heavily on creating lines for a script). Keep in mind what we have covered in class to help you with your performance. You will be presenting these on Remember that your self- and peer-evaluations will be placed in your portfolio. Now, grab your masks, and let's have some fun!

Students will spend the semester creating an original script as a final project. The script will be a stage play. Students are to choose a common high school issue like bullying or racism, and are given opportunities throughout the semester to write it.

A mood board is a tool used by designers to help them get a good idea of what their clients are looking for. Mood boards are basically collages of items such as photographs, sketches, clippings, fabric swatches and color samples. A mood board can be actual or virtual.
