The activity involves repairing damage to the tread part of the tire. Damage is usually incurred via nail, screw, tack puncture, etc. It is important to note that the only acceptable method of repairing a tire is via the patch method, not the plug method. The plug is a secondary method to fix a puncture. Before trying themselves, students will have been given some theory and the instructor will have demonstrated the proper procedure for repairing a tire.

Using text, perform the following: 1. Evaluate the student's knowledge of preparing sales invoices . Demonstrate the use of documentation 3. Understand the importance of sales invoices as a source document used for preparing sales journal. 4. Prepare sales invoice and sales journal.

Students ability to perform a wire repair by soldering wires and apply heat shrink to protect repair.

Students will use MIG welding techniques to weld a variety of weld joints including a Tee joint, Butt joint and Lap joint. Students will also complete a bead plate.

Students ability to inspect a vehicle's steering and suspension system prior to performing a wheel alignment.

Students ability to inspect and determine condition of power steering system

Students should be able to properly use, break down & reassemble a HVLP spray gun correctly and safely.

Joining 2 wires together with solder and using shrink tubing

Students to use building symbols, tape measure,pencil and paper to complete a work shop

Remove, inspect and install brake pads. Measure rotor minimum thickness and inspect brake hoses and line for leakage.

Students will fabricate and flare each side of a piece of brake line with a Double and an ISO Bubble flare

This assessment is used to grade students on their ability to properly perform the various tasks involved in inspecting a vehicle.
