Transformations
Student is to draw one of their initals in one quadrant of the coordinate plane. They are to label all the coordinates on the diagram. Then they are to creatively decorate the inital using colored pencils, markers or any other artistic medium. They should use notebook paper if necessary for the descriptions.

Area_Perimeter Art Project
Students are to make 3 rectangles given the parameters of three different rectangles. Students are to make create a draft have it checked, and then recreate their drawings by using 1/2 inch strips of paper and glue them onto black paper.

Tessellation Project Quarter 2
Students will learn about tesselations and the types of tessellations that have been created. Students will then create their own tessellation using a square and altering that square with specific tessellation criteria.

Students will be given parameters for three different rectangles, students have to identify the length and width and then create the rectangles using 1/2 strips of colored paper.
