Students will work in marketing teams to create a commercial to sell a product to potential consumers. Students will use various concepts and strategies learned during the marketing unit in order to create an effective marketing campaign.

Students will create a product presentation and demonstrate it.

Groups will select a company and conduct an analysis of that company's marketing plan. Students will identify the target market(s) and how the marketing plan addresses that target market. Requirements include but are not limited to a S.W.O.T. analysis, a review of the 4P' marketing mix and how these are impacted by the target market. Students will then create a 7 -10 minute presentation.

Students develop a business plan for a retail or service business at Jefferson West that they are personally interested in starting. Each student will be responsible for all portions of the comprehensive plan that covers everything, including Executive Summary, Business Description, writing a mission statement, developing the marketing plan.

Students will debate an assigned topic

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Students will take a product and create a marketing campaign for that product. They should incorporate the four P's of marketing in their presentation. Students should assume the role of a Marketing consulting firm and present their plan to the owners of the product.
