This rubric will be used to help participant of online course evaluate response to discussion topics.

Students prepare a 4-5 page paper about an ethical dilemma of their choice. The paper is worth a total of 100 points, 10% of the final course grade, and grading is based on the criteria listed below.

Familiarize yourselves with existing research and theoretical writings pertinent to your topic. Find the best empirical (data-based) article(s) or an assigned article that addresses this topic. Describe the article you reviewed, its methods and findings, strengths and weaknesses. Make recommendations for further refining research in this area, including concrete suggestions (e.g., additional theoretical considerations.

Each week there will be one or more discussion forum Blackboard assignments that require you to respond to assignment prompts and respond to a minimum of 2 other student in the class. Each assignment will have specific instructions explaining what you are expected to contribute and when the initial and peer responses are due.
