This rubric will help you plan your oral and written presentations for your voicethread on your picture. Don't forget your commentary to another voicethread as well.

Students will take their knowledge of our solar system and create a 3D model of it. The planets should be in the correct order and be relatively proportioned to each other (Mars should not be bigger than Jupiter). The sun should be included. All planets should be clearly labeled in some way. Each student will have to present their project to the class, so they should come prepared to discuss how their 3-D solar system model was created and be able to discuss the solar system and planets.

Using a model kit, construct a 3-D Model of one of the Body's System of the various kits available.

The students will work on their own to create a 3D model of an animal cell. The 3D model will contain all of the cell organelles including cell membrane and cytoplasm. Students will model the cell and organelles accurately, with labels and definitions/functions, in a creative and colorful manner. The materials the student choose to use is up to them, but the 3D model must be neat and can stand on its own.

Students will create an informational, advertised-style poster that clearly shows the four states of matter, which occur in everyday common examples. Additionally there will be a minimum of poster size: 24" x 36" inches.
