Students will create a magazine advertisement using advertising techniques as outlined in the "sell it to them - magazine ad" planning sheet. Advertisement should be for a product not normally advertised to teens. Choose HOW you want to market it and WHO you want to sell it to. Choose techniques to persuade those buyers to purchase your product using the techniques discussed.

Students will debate an assigned topic

Students will acquire all of the elements necessary to produce a yearbook spread. All elements will be placed on spread and styles will be applied.

Students will learn what a budget is. Be able to identify different parts of a budget. They will identify steady sources of income and types of expenses. They will be able to explain hoe to adjust their budget and keep it realistic.

You are in charge of balancing your family budget for this month. You will earn a salary, pay bills, buy groceries, and balance the family checkbook.

A yearbook, or annual, is frequently used to record, commemorate, and highlight a school year. At most institutions, student teams publish yearbooks. Some countries and organizations also publish yearbooks as annual summary reports. In this project, students will develop and create a yearbook. The students create templates and create reusable graphics and illustrations to implement thematic and design consistency throughout the yearbook.

Record transactions to set up a business in a five-column journal. 4. Record transactions to buy insurance for cash and supplies on account in a five-column journal. 5. Record transactions that affect owner’s equity and receiving cash on account in a five-column journal. 6. Prove and rule a five-column journal and prove cash.

This Project is to show your personal understanding of personal finance topics we have recently discussed. We discussed finding a job you like, what the job really is like, how much you make, a budget using the annual salary you will make, how housing can affect your budget, how a car loan can affect your budget, why it is important to look at your Budget, and a summary of the entire project.
