The student will create a relief printmaking block using carved styrofoam. The student will print an edition of 3-5 signed, numbered, and dated prints.

Independent Activity: "Who Am I" Collage Create a collage that represents who you are as a person. The collage should be made using Microsoft PowerPoint and Clip Art, Word Art, or Internet Images. This collage should consist of a wide variety of images that tell who you are and what is important to you. You will present the collage to the class, and it may be displayed on the wall of the classroom. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

This rubric is used for a one point perspective city drawing

Students will create a painting based on a collage they made which was inspired by the work of Jacob Lawrence. Students learn to translate a collage into an acrylic painting. Students may make a precise copy of their collage or may use it as the inspiration for a more elaborate painting

Students will complete the packet to practice creating the components of a one-point perspective view point.
