Students will create a total of 5 different designs for electronic products that are currently on the market. Designs will be a composite of several elements. Your product designs need to include elements of design and principles of design with a high degree of effectiveness, making your completed project eye-catching and attractive.

Art and Media - Shoe Design
Three parts: Part 1: students will draw a still life model (running shoe) and apply drawing and shading techniques they have learned. Part 2: Students will design their own shoe model, using the techniques learned to render a final drawing that illustrates their understanding of drawing concepts we have studied in class. Part 3: the shoe design is produced together with an ad product, including a logo, a slogan/jingle, and a packing box of their own design.

Student Created Product Design
Rubric used in evaluating creative problem solving processes and solutions when designing their own product. Students created their own products and design packaging using Adobe indesign and photoshop. Pairs were required to develop the product, create 4 options for package design (including reseaons for color, font, etc.), and present their final versions.
