Art projects without a specific rubric or other assessment criteria will be evaluated and graded using the following rubric.

Students will create a relief radial design sculpture while utilizing basic origami folding techniques.

Rubric to guide assessment in Studio Art projects

A rubric that properly evaluates the artistic process. It measures the various phases and approaches that are necessary in the assessment of a project or a work of art.

Students create a line drawing of a subject for which thay have used the method of sighting and measuring to establish accurate proportions.

The student will create a relief printmaking block using carved linoleum. The student will print an edition of 5 signed, numbered, and titled prints.

Students begin by drawing facial features from observation and then integrate them into a full scale self-portrait, either real or imagined. Drawing of featusing mixed media of Black and white materials: ink, ink wash, charcoal, crayons, conte crayon, chalk and oil paste.

Following the completion Sight Stick Rendering of a studio chair, design a "chair of your choosing." It may be 2D or 3D, using a medium of your choice. It must be completed in 2 weeks.

Create a linoleum block that illustrates what is important to you. I want to hear your voice. You have incredibly important things to say and artwork is one avenue that you can portray your thoughts. It doesn’t matter the language you speak, an image can speak across language barriers.
