Layers of Soil

Presentation: Endocrine Glands
1. In groups you will research the different endocrine system glands. 2. Each group will be assigned a specific gland. 3. Your group will then become a specialist in this gland and will develop a profile on it. Your profile must include a description of the gland, where it is located, which hormones are produced by the gland, the specific function of each hormone, the target organs of the hormones, and the effects on the body.

Presentation: Endocrine Glands
Working in groups, students will work on a presentation to the class based on the endocrine system, on a specific assigned gland, and its function of the body. Each group will prepare a 5-8 minute presentation to the class on their assigned topic. Each presentation shall include multimedia aspect illustrating a particular gland of the endocrine system.

Expository Speech
Students will research, plan, and compose a speech in which their performance will be evaluated in terms of specific standards set in class, including the clarity and completeness of your speech and the quality of your presentation in explaining your topic matter.
