You will write a one page typed or two page hand written review of an approved hispanic book or movie. You paper must discuss the setting, characters, plot, theme, and any other imporant background information. In addition you must discuss the relevancy of the story and critique the book.

Students will be given copies of poems and they are to choose one poem to recite from memory with good expression and phrasing.

This rubric assesses student learning for a collaborative online journal that small groups of students put together. The journal requires students to define five terms and provide a poem, song lyrics, or a section of a larger work that contains an example of the given term. Students must also explain how the literary device affects the work and why the writer used the device.

The rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Google Presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for the assignment. Review of the rubric carefully before, during, and after the creation of the Google Presentation to ensure that all intended elements of your Google presentation have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Class will be divided into groups of 3-4 depending on the class size. Groups will be asked to create a short play on application of the nursing process in the assessment of a patient's sleep pattern. After creating a short role play, your group will then perform your role play to a class.

Reflections allow students the opportunity to think about their experiences and "get the learning out" of these experiences. Through reflection, s, explore problems and solutions encountered during their work, and connect their experiences to their learning goals. Reflections are an important part of the feedback loop between the student and their teacher. Therefore, sharing the learning with the teacher in a timely manner, allows the teacher to offer formative guidance through timely responses to the reflection, which increases student learning.

Choose 15 literary elements with a partner or 8 by yourself. Construct a book which includes a cover and 15 pages. Each page must include the literary element, the definition, a written example, and an image/drawing representing the written example.

You are to research the assigned literary device and complete a presentation on the given terms. The assignment may be completed in powerpoint or any other presentation program. The presentation must be presented it in a manner that is bother literary and visual.

The purpose of this rubric is to give students the expectations for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. The student will compare and contrast the of "Cinderella" and the South African story of "Natiki". In preparation for this assignment, the student will have had instruction in the writing process, sentence structure, capitalization, end marks, and read both stories.

Students are expected to write a compare/contrast comparing and contrasting "The Devil and Tom Walker" with "The Devil and Daniel Webster". Use your compare and contrast graphic organizer to set up your essay, and follow this rubric to receive the highest possible score. I expect excellent papers from each one of you.
