Trillion Dollar Footprint
Students will create a trillion dollar footprint that represents their life with technology. Students will share what kind of information they would want to find about themselves online ten years from now. This footprint will consist of a wide variety of drawn images. The students will then present their footprints to the class, and it will be displayed on the wall of the classroom. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

My Media Life
Students will create a collage that represents their life with technology. This collage will consist of a wide variety of images and words that tell the simile of their technology life. Words and pictures MUST be cut out from the different magazines that will be given to them in class. The students will then present their collage to the class, and it will be displayed on the wall of the classroom. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

Comic Strip Rubric
Create a cartoon about cyberbullying or Internet Safety. Each comic strip will have 6+ panels. Each box should connect to the other and tell some type of story (you have a beginning, ,middle, and an end). You should address an internet safety/cyberbullying issue.

Sewing Plastic Canvas
This rubric will measure the abilities of students to thread a needle, hand stitching, and complete a sewing project by the end of nine weeks. The medium used will be plastic canvas.

Students are to use social media formats as a way to communicate to people their idea about their selected fake news topic. Acceptable formats are a blog, FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, or Tumbler. Pages should be fake. Students can use a poster board, or paper to design what their page would look like.

Students are to create a fake Facebook profile using Word Processor, PowerPoint or keynote. Students will use biographical information from the course and research to create a profile. Students will also create status and wall posts, they will also use other historical figures to comment on the page appropriately.
