Science Performance.

The Students will make a poster describing velocity, force, and mass. The key concepts discussed in Amplify Force and Motion Chapter 1 and 2 are described.

Oral presentation

Construct an energy transformation diagram illustrating a minimum of five different energy transformations. This diagram must show your understanding of multiple FORMS of energy and be an accurate representation of how energy changes forms. Along with your transformation diagram, you must create a summary explanation of what is happening to the energy in your diagram. You must also explain how your energy transformations relate to the Law of Conservation of Energy.

Your group must create a poster that visually describes with words and pictures including diagrams, illustrations, captions, and labels key vocabulary and key concepts covered in class.

Information Texts: Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly. CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.3.2a Introduce a topic and group related information together; include illustrations when useful to aiding comprehension. CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.3.2b Develop the topic with facts, definitions, and details. CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.3.2c Use linking words and phrases to connect ideas within categories of information. Skits for Deviant behavior. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions. 1. As a group, you will create a skit identifying atleast 1 positive deviant behavior and 1 negative deviant behavior 2. You must show primary and secondary deviance within the skit 3. You must show external and internal thoughts 4. You must show how labeling (stigmas) occur within groups of people. 5. Skit should be between 3 to 5 minutes in length
