Their job is to think about what their targeted audience is and market the movie trailer to their tastes. They must capture the essence, complete with theme and symbols present in the movie trailer. A storyboard and script must accompany the movie trailer.

Students are to create a movie trailer for their independent reading book. The book should engage viewers and make the viewers WANT to read the book. Requirements include 2-4 minutes of video, script and storyboard, music, titles, and some editing. Student's video MUST be relevant to the book.

Storyboard Rubric
Students will create, in groups, a 12-frame storyboard depicting their assigned original narrative. With photos of the storyboards, the groups willl then present their project to the class in an oral presentation. Each student is expected to speak in the presentation.
