Essay will examine the style of a poet we have read together in class. In this essay, you will you analyze the poet's use of literary elements (parts of the poem and figures of speech) and use this analysis to interpret the style of the author.

Assessment of group performance pieces.

Write a 8-10 minute presentation about a Musical Theatre Play. Include information about social context of the play, influences, the lyricst, the playwright, the actors/ actresses, any revivals, and examples of music from the play being performed today. A performance from the musical must be performed. It can be a song, dance, or an influential part that showcases the spirit of the musical. (Must provide your own music and/or materials)
