1 rubric Elder Partner Fieldwork and Research Report v.2       popup preview
Students are to find an older person, either an acquaintance of the student or someone at a nearby nursing home, with whom to conduct weekly interviews for a period of four weeks. Interview questions will be decided upon by students in class each week. Interview questions and answers, any observations the student considers pertinent, and how the elder’s response reflects class material should be written up and turned in weekly. These reports will constitute your primary research report for the term. Grading will be based on your ability to demonstrate understanding and critical thinking regarding the subject matter. By “critical thinking” I mean that you should be able to tie your observations in with the materials and theories we are learning about in class. References to the text are appropriate.
