This writing assignment will be graded only on writing conventions, the mechanics of writing.

Student persuasive essay that uses facts, reasons and details to back up their argument. TEK-ELA 4.19 Students will write persuasive texts to influence the attitudes or actions of a specific audience on specific issues. 4.19A Students will write persuasive essays for appropriate audiences that establish a position and use supporting details.

Develop a presentation to share the most important information about your economic or political system from the text to the class through an interactive, engaging project or presentation. You must include vocabulary, and have the class do some kind of written assignment or activity.

Use for assessing the poverty solutions proposal

For a total possible of 250 points, you will work in a group of 3-4 and write and present a lost episode of Destinos in Spanish. You will write a script for your episode and submit it for approval and revisions prior to filming. You must utilize characters, themes, and settings from the series you have watched in class. All video content must be school appropriate and in compliance with school policies outlined in the GHS student handbook. Video dialogue must be audible and clear and editing must not impede comprehension of the plot. Each group member must participate as a character on screen with spoken lines. Group roles (grammarian, equipment guru, set/location designer, costume/hair/makeup, director, and editor(s), etc.) will be determined by the group and established prior to filming. You and a group of classmates create a short movie/video in which you demonstrate your understanding of the correct usage of the imperfect and the passe compose.

Students will work cooperatively in a group to write, perform, and video a skit designed to demonstrate their knowlegde of vocabulary used for eating out in a German restaurant.
