Animal Farm Talk Show Project

The song Beasts of England is a stirring revolutionary tune that excites the animals and unifies them in their cause. Analyze the ideas presented in Beasts of England and, from the viewpoint of Humans, write a counterrevolutionary song that calls for the overthrow of the social system established by the Rebellion on Manor Farm. Set your song to inspiring music and plan either a “live” or taped presentation of the song for the class to hear.

On-line TV Broadcasting/podcasting project for class blog

Each student will create one of the following: a model, brochure, newspaper article, powerpoint presentation or storybook that interprets their understanding of the epic poem, Beowulf.

Short Story Presentation that evaluates the following areas: 1. The effect the author's life impacted the literature. 2. The summary of the plot of the story. 3. The analysis of literary techniques used in the work. 4. The quality of the powerpoint/poster used in the presentation. 5. The use of hand-outs for presenation. 6. The quality of the oral presentation. 7. The preparedness of the presentation. 8. The timeliness of the assignment.

After reading the story on the farm animals, students will create their own pictures in order to show their own understanding of what the stry was bout. Later when they are done with this activity, they will have a chance to share it with their classmates, and compare their different points of views with one another.

Research the approved topic. Submit 5 typed pages publishing the results of your research. Include a Works Consulted page with at least 6 sources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, and relevance of included information. Grade will be based on organization, clarity, use of transitions, appropriate voice, correct citation format, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
