Students will make a family tree in French on poster board. You must include at least 10 family members. You must include a combination of both immediate and extended family and you must include yourself on the tree. You must have: 1. A picture for each family member 2. A family vocabulary term 3. A possessive adjective (mon, ma) 4. The relationship of that family member to another family member. Example: C'est ma mère. Elle est la fille de ma grand-mère.

To create a visual demonstration of your daily routine – what you do from the moment you wake up, until you go back to bed – demonstrating your knowledge of reflexive verbs. The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate the your understanding of the use of reflexive verbs, and when and how to use them correctly. The narrative should include specific times of day at which the events occur, transition words to help the scenes "flow," and use correct grammar and vocabulary.

It must include 50 questions and answers in French that range from easy to complex, and you MUST be able to answer them all for your game. ALL games are due the class dayON/BEFORE________so we can play them during finals week. Do your 50 q/a FIRST and show them to me. Get creative with the rest and have fun!

Objective: To create a semi-professional news segment on what's happening in sports worldwide and in our community. Sportscast will be 2-5 minutes in length. Students will include a commercial between 15-30 seconds advertising a sports-related product. Students will work in small groups no larger than 5 people to create an assigned portion of the newscast. Students will then help arrange the individual presentations to create a final group production. Students will be graded on individual work and the production of the newscast as a whole. Each group needs at least an anchor and an author. Other possible positions include: reporter, artist, co-anchor, actor(s) for commercial, athletes to be interviewed, etc. Students can play more than one part. These will be taped and watched in class!!

Students will create a 45 second-1 min commercial using IMovie Program. You must import a video for your commercial. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product. You must have at least 7 sentences with four words. You must have video, music and audio. A written script must accompany your presentation.

Draw a diagram to display 3 generations of your family. It must include 20 members from both sides of your family. For each member include: their relationship to you, their name, their age, 1 adjective to describe physical characteristics, 1 adjective to describe their personality, and something they like to do. Remember this is a summary of vocabulary words you are familiar with in the target language. All work should be in French, neat, organized, and colorful. CREATIVITY WILL PROVIDE BONUS PARTICIPATION POINTS. A rough draft must be included with the project.

Imagine you & 2 friends are running for class president, vice president & secretary of your school. Your school is very diverse. Your friends have already done the English campaign, but since you are the smartest in the group they have asked you to handle the campaign in Spanish to capture the Latino vote. Your job is to create a poster & a 30 sec. commercial to help get your trio elected. The poster must promote you & your friends by mentioning your office & telling about your character & what you like. 4-6 sentences/ characteristics must be mentioned about each candidate. A variety of sentences should be used. The sentences should show that the candidates are intelligent & have well rounded interests to represent your school's interests. Your Commercial should not be a direct quote or reading from the poster. Your should share a few "main points" about yourself & your partners. *You may try some mud slinging or include 1-2 negative sentences about another candidate.
