A rubric that properly evaluates the artistic process. It measures the various phases and approaches that are necessary in the assessment of a project or a work of art.

SIMPLE 3-D DIORAMA Creating a background, middle ground and a foreground. Materials: 8" X 10" paper, pencil, pencil crayons, scissors and glue stick. FOLD PIECE OF PAPER IN HALF - draw background - remember to calculate where and what you will add as a pop-up for the middle ground. Add colour. MAKE A SECOND FOLD APPROX THE WIDTH OF 3 FINGER DOWN FROM THE FIRST FOLD. On this short piece of paper you will be designing the foreground - Draw add colour - carefully cut contour of image. DRAW IMAGE FOR POP-UP(S) on disgarded paper - add colour -carefully cut contour of image. Make U tabs to connect front to back and small acordian Z tabs to attach pop-ups to background.
