Information Text: CCSS.ELA-Lit.W.3.2 Write informative text to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly. Lit.W.3.2a Introduce a topic and group related information together; include illustrations when useful to aiding comprehension. Lit.W.3.2b Develop the topic with facts, definitions, and details. Lit.W.3.2c Use linking words and phrases (e.g., also, another, and, more, but) to connect ideas within categories of information. Lit.W.3.2d Provide a concluding statement or section.

Research the approved topic. Submit one group 2-3 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 3 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and cited sources.
