Just Dance Rubric
The dances will be assessed on the ability to follow the Just Dance Video. Students must follow the timing, rhythm, actions, and performance style of the original dance. Students are also assessed on their ability to work in a group and make it a fluid performance (if working in groups)

Lascaux Caves Travel Brochure
Your are the curator of the Lascaux Caves and Museum. Your job is to advertise to the general public that a visit to the Caves and to the Museum of Paleolithic Times would be worth the trip. Use as much information from online research, your text book, as well as from the novel 'The Boy of the Painted Cave'. Refer to the checklist on the Wiki.

Ancient Civilization Travel Brochure
Student will create a travel brochure of an imaginary trip to an ancient civilization. They will research their ancient civilization to learn historical, cultural, political, and economic information about their ancient civilization. Their research will be complied into a professional brochure that will display their knowledge of their chosen ancient civilization.

World History Museum-Ancient Civilization Exhibit
Student will create a miniature museum exhibit and a professional presentation. They will research a monument or culturally significant artifact. Their research will be compiled into a presentation board which will display their knowledge of the civilization represented and the chosen musuem piece.

"Passport to Genre" Book Reports
Every month the student will complete a book report on a text they have independently read at, or above, the sixth grade level. The student is required to chose a different book, from a different genre, each month. Regardless of genre, this rubric will be used to grade completeness, neatness, grammar, and comprehension and content awareness of the text that he/she read.
