Interview three people, addressing adult development factors As the following questions: 1What is important in your life right now? 2 How is this stage of life different from the previous one? 3 How have you changed since you have become an adult? 4 What were your perceptions of what it is like t be an adult? 5 What worries you? 6 How do you spend your time? 7 What do you value? 8 What challenges have you faced / facing) at this time of your life? 9 how have you coped / coping) with them? 10 What resources (community or otherwise) have you used to deal with the challenges in your life? Do not pressure interviewees to reveal more than they are comfortable with. Include a brief discussion of any stereotypes or ideas you had about the particular stage before the interview. Did the interviews change any misconceptions? Use open-ended, general questions in order to avoid influencing the interviewee.

Be prepared for a 15-to 20-minute presentation on a specific developmental topic, including an analysis and application of appropriate theories when possible.

o Choose a “Developmental Topic of Personal Interest” for individual research. Be prepared to submit a 5- to 6-page paper in Week Four. o Choose any topic related to course content. Appropriate topics include: Issues of autonomy, gender roles, sexuality, self-concept, relationships, marriage, parenthood, grandparenthood, divorce, stepfamilies, widowhood, death, bereavement, and other related subjects. For other ideas, refer to the text Table of Contents. o In your paper, describe the problem, how it affects those involved, ways of preventing such problems, and approaches and resources for resolving or improving the problem. At least five sources of information are required, documented in APA style in-text citations and reference page

Complete an Internet search for services available to the elderly population. Focus on national, then regional, then local services. Prepare a list of the services for addressing the unique needs of the elderly population that are available in your local area. The list should include names and contact information of the agencies providing the service and should be clearly and correctly typed, spelled, and punctuated. Make copies of your lists to share with your classmates. Prepare a 10-minute, informal Learning Team presentation of your resource list in Week Five.
