Weight room: Get to Know the Exercise Machines
Students will understand the body part each machine can do, by orally(speaking) and manually (demonstrating) to the class. Students will demonstrate safety by following all the rules of the weight room and how students can use a particle machine.

Organ Systems Poster
1. Design a poster showing at least four different organ systems we have studied: circulatory, nervous, muscular/skeletal, endocrine, respiratory, digestive. 2. Include pictures of the types of cells, tissues, and organs that make up each system. 3. Write captions to show how each system works to keep the body healthy. 4. All drawings and information must be accurate and complete. 5. Be sure to make it colorful and appealing to draw interest to the poster. You may use your book, notes, or any other resource on this poster.

Bi-Weekly Work Out Plan
Students will be given a weight room grade for every two visits to the weight room. Total possible points are 40 points. If students is not where on a weight room day student does not receive credit for that missed day. ***LOGS NOT HANDED IN AT END OF CLASS OR WITHOUT NAMES WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THE DAY***

Students need to have journal entries for past health classes. In a notebook with journal questions and responses to the question. Requirements: Have a journal notebook Have journal entry questions and responses (student can (look online pacsweb for questions) in correct order All stray papers must be stapled into journal notebook

Food Log Part 1
Students keep a record of everything they eat and drink for 5 consecutive days. Students needs to fill out food log that is given to them. Project DUE APRIL 5th Every day project is late 5 points will be taken off (WEEKENDS COUNT)

Health Research Paper
Student can either show the positive or negative qualities of students participating in Dodge ball in physical education class. Students must find articles that support his or her feeling. The paper needs to be at least three pages (typed). Student needs to be able to pull out relevant information and put it into his or her own words (any kind of plagiarism results in a zero for the project.) Paper is due on April 6 (5 points will be taken off for everyday it will late *weekend count**)
