Woman's History Project
Fifth Graders will researcha famous woman from history utilizing the books in the library. The note-taking process will be done in library class, the PowerPoint will be done in computer class (to be handed in with notes to the librarian for grading), and the art work willbe completed in art class.

Comparison of Two Pensylvania Cities
Fourth grade will be researching two cities within Pennslvania. They will draw some conclusions about these cities and decide which they would like to visit and why. The final project, a trifold, will be finished in computer class and all notes and bibliography will need to be handed in with the final project.

COLLECTION SELECTION
This rubric is to be used by staff members of public libraries in their selection of non-fiction public library books, video, and electronic resources for patrons between the age of 14 and 18. Final Scale for Purchase: Results between 70 and 80%, consider for purchase if additional funds are available. Results between 81% and 90% purchase if funds are available. Results between 91% to 100% purchase for collection.
