Group members need to decide which part of the community they will be responsible for creating and which of the writing assignments they will complete. Write your decisions on paper and turn this in to Mrs. Grier before beginning. The writing choices include: A persuasive paper stating the reasons someone should move to your community (include sensory details); An expository paper explaining in detail how to make a building or vehicle from paper; A narrative that creates a story based on the objects depicted in your community (name the places).

Possible use in evaluating creative problem solving processes and solutions, or creative products as in art, music, drama, role play, student presentations, etc.

Book Report Project - Using a can or box with a lid, create the setting, characters, conflict, climax and resolution on the outside of the container using markers, colored pencils, or construction paper. Inside the container, write on a piece of paper 5 vocabulary words, their definition, and a meaningful sentence using the vocabulary word.
