Solve equations of these forms fluently. Compare an algebraic solution to an arithmetic solution, identifying the sequence of the operations used in each approach.

You will present a skit that highlights the unit that we are in currently. Each person in the group will have an equal amount of lines in the skit, and will contribute to the overall presentation.

The students will work in pairs to put together a flyer for display. The flyer will contain relevant information directly related to ONE of the following topics: promote good hygiene, reduce unintentional injuries (accidents), or positive and negatives effects of the sun.

This is an assignment to teach the student the power of shading values by completing a shading booklet and shading a final project of fruit.

Prepare a Keynote presentation examining the lyrics to one of your favourite songs. Answer whether a song can have an impact on people, and give examples. Tell about why this song is meaningful to you, and examine theme, language, rhyme and rhythm and in the song. You are required to have the lyrics to the song in the Keynote, pictures of the artist or group, and a short biography of the artist or history of the group. You will also play the song for the class.

Students will choose from the fishbowl, prepare for 4 minutes, and then deliver a two minute speech.
