| About Me | I have been a perinatal nurse for more than 30 years. I have also been an educator, tutor, and nursing mentor for over 15 years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making new friends, being a mother and grandmother of 2, and a wife to my husband for the past 33 years. | |
| Teaching Experience | I have taught Practical Nursing students for 3 different programs. I was the ADON for a PN program for more than 2 years before returning to the bedside. I currently tutor students for nursing entrance exams, in a nursing program, and the NCLEX for first time or subsequent times. I have successfully helped students pass their exams in all areas. | |
| Related Experience | Over 15 years of medical health instruction including medical terminology, health professions, nurse entrance exams, PN program coordinator and instructor, and a tutor in many areas of nursing education needs. | Notes | I prefer to tutor at a public place such as a library or bookstore. On rare occasions I am willing to do in home tutoring. I am seeking only dedicated students who realize the importance of my time and theirs. They must be willing to meet for a minimum of 2 hour, 4-6 week sessions, preferably 1 - 2 times a week. |
