Grammar and Mechanics	Poor There are several misspellings and grammar errors within the report. Sentences are not formed correctly.	Good There are few misspellings and grammar errors within the report. Sentences are formed correctly.	Awesome There are no misspellings or grammar errors within the report. Sentences are well written.
Content	Poor The information in the report does not relate to the book. The student is off topic in many places. The teacher is left wondering: What was the book about, and did the student actually read it?	Good The information in the report is relevant, it relates to the book. The teacher can understand the book from the report. It is clear the student read the book.	Awesome The content shows detailed knowledge of the book. The teacher understood the book and learned something new from the report. The student read the book and thought about it.
Followed Directions	Poor The student showed little effort following the directions.	Good The report shows a reasonable amount of effort to follow directions.
