Fitness Assessment 
This fitness assessment is designed to test different levels and to act as a "benchmark" for present and future fitness assessments. This test has five (5) sections: the Pull-up, sit-up test, push up test, 1-mile run test, and sit and reach test.

20-30 sit ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity is extremely low at this time and needs improvement.

31-40 sit ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity is average, but could be improved.

41-60 sit ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity has met requirements.
Excellent

more than 60 sit ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity has exceeded requirements.
Push-Up (until failure)

Poor

20-25 push ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity/upper body strength is extremely low at this time and needs improvement.
Average

26-35 push ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity/upper body strength is average, but could be improved.
Very Good

36-45 push ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity/upper body strength has met requirements.
Excellent

more than 45 push ups in one minute. Aerobic capacity/upper body strength has exceeded requirements.
1-mile Run

Poor

A 1-mile run time of 10 minutes or higher.
Average

A 1-Mile run time between 8 minutes 30 seconds and 9minutes 59 seconds.
Very Good

A 1-Mile run time between 7 minutes and 8 minutes and 29 seconds.
Excellent

A 1-mile run time below 6 minutes and 59 Seconds.
Sit & Reach

Poor

0 - 2 inches
Average

3 - 5 inches
Very Good

6 - 7 inches
Excellent

8 inches
