CREATIVITY	Excellent Costumes have rich, attractive patterns that are both pleasing to the eye as well as functional.	Very Good Costumes use fairly attractive patterns and are relatively functional.	Good Costumes are somewhat unappealing to the eye and are not very functional.	Fair Costumes are unattractive, messy, and lack functionality.
APPROPRIATENESS	Excellent Costumes fit perfectly to a vision of the performer in the dance.	Very Good Costumes mostly fit the performer and the needs of the dance.	Good Costumes fit the performer somewhat, but there are some misses.	Fair Costumes seem randomly designed and do not reflect the needs of the dancel.
ELEMENTS AND PRINCIPLES	Excellent Projects planned carefully, showing a strong understanding of sewing and design concepts covered.
