Slab Plate/platter Slab Plate Students use the slab hand building method with a plate mold to make a clay plate. Students use paint to design their plates with a dragon inspired by Chinese dragons and blue and white ware. Finishing (Slab mold)	Advanced The edges of the plate have been cleanly finished. Great care and pride have been show in the plate construction.
