	Excellent Student meets and exceeds the objectives and criteria for the project. 25 pts	Average The student meets most the objectives and criteria for the project. 20 pts	Below Average The student meets a few of the objectives and criteria for the project. 15 pts	Poor The student does not meet the objectives and criteria for the project. 10 pts
Complementary Colors/Patterns	Excellent The student shows an advanced knowledge of color and shows excellent creativity in design.	Average The student demonstrates knowledge of color and shows creativity in design.	Below Average The student shows a developing knowledge of color and some creativity in design.	Poor The student shows little or no creativity in design or knowledge of color.
Construction	Excellent The student follows the directions precisely and sculpture is free standing and unique on all sides.	Average The student follows the directions and sculpture is free standing and unique on most sides	Below Average The student mostly follows the directions and sculpture is unique somewhat unique or is not free standing.	Poor The student mostly does not follow the directions and sculpture is unique somewhat unique and is not free standing.
Craftsmanship	Excellent Excellent craftsmanship is demonstrated throughout the process of the project.	Average The student demonstrates good craftmanship and neatness when using chosen art materials.	Below Average Craftmanship and neatness is not consistant.	Poor The student does not make efforts to neatly use art materials.
Effort/Time Management	Excellent Student demonstrates excellent use of time and effort	Average Student demonstrates good time management and redirection is rare.	Below Average Student is distracted and /or not doing assignment and needs redirection about task.	Poor Student constantly needs redirection and/or uninvolved.
