Stitches/Techniques Student used techniques beyond single crochet. Other skills include Increasing, Decreasing, Ribbing, etc. Weight x 5= 25-1	Good Excellent--Student used a complicated pattern that stretched their abilities. Student used at least 2 other stitches/techniques besides the chain stitch and single crochet.	Fair Good--Student used a pattern that somewhat stretched their abilities. Student used at least 1 other stitches/techniques besides the chain stitch and single crochet.	Poor Fair--Student used a pattern that did not increase their abilities with crochet techniques. Student only used the chain stitch and single crochet for this project.
Stitches The stitches were done correctly and consistently. Weight x 5=25-1	Good All stitches were completed consistently and done correctly. The finished project looks great.	Fair Over 1/2 of the stitches were completed consistently and done correctly.	Poor Student's work had many issues with completing the correct stitch technique and or consistency of stitches. The stitches look inconsistent and messy.
Tension The crocheter/knitter consistently regulated the tension of their stitches. Weight x 2=10-1	Good All stitches were completed using a consistent amount of tension.	Fair Some stitches were either done too loosely or too tightly	Poor Several areas of stitching were completed too tightly or too loosely.
Width Student was able to count stitches to keep an even width through the project. Weight x 2=10-1	Good Stitches were counted and each row has the same width, creating an even width project.	Fair Some attempt was made to count stitches and maintain width, there is slight tapering.	Poor There was no attempt to count stitches and maintain width, the project has severe tapering.
Work Ethic Student worked each day, all class period on the project. If the class was missed, the student made up the missed time at home or in study hall.
