It is evident that learners are familiar with the poem and very little referencing or prompting is required.
Excellent

Learners do not need papers or iPads at all. They have learned the words and are able to deliver the poem without any prompting.
Contribution and Focus

Overall group dynamic

Poor

The group seems disjointed and there is no connection between group members.
Fair

Little effort has been made to connect as a group. Learners are unconcerned about overall dynamic and seem more concerned with individual performances. No evidence of group momentum.
Good

Fairly good group dynamic is evident. It is clear that the group has worked together and tried. Certain elements or sections remain 'loose' or disjointed. Performance is somewhat erratic.
Excellent

Overall group dynamic and group 'energy' is palpable. Group is able to perform and present as one, united and powerful. Group members support, anticipate and highlight each other. Collaboration and team spirit are clearly evident.

Moments of understanding are shown.

It seems that the learners are able to interpret and understand most of the poem.

Complete understanding of poem is evident. Learners have been able to take the poem and interpret it, making it their own.

Energy is completely lacking. Learners are disinterested or uninvolved. Learners are not present and committed.

There are moments where the energy is good. At times, the learners seem present and committed.
Good

The energy is good. For the most part, learners are present, committed and want to deliver well.
Excellent

The energy is palpable. It is clear that all learners in the group are present, fully committed and determined to deliver to the best of their ability. The poem can be clearly and powerfully 'felt'.
