Newspaper Article Newspaper Article Write a newspaper article that includes the 5 W's and is all about Ramadan. Article should be written in such a way that it assumes the reader knows nothing about Ramadan. All work must stick to the facts and be original. 5 W's 5 pts The 5 W's are included in the article (preferably in first paragraph) - Who -What - When - Why - Where	Poor	Fair	Average	Good	Excellent Article answers "who, what, where, when, and why (sometimes also how)"; provides most critical information
Lead/ Supporting Paragraphs 10 pts Presents unbiased facts; made up of several paragraphs, uses descriptive adjectives and adverbs, quote from individual involved in event	Poor	Fair	Average	Good	Excellent Lead paragraph summarize what article will be about (5W's), multiple unbiased facts to thoroughly explain story; several paragraphs; uses descriptive adjectives and adverbs to make the story "real"; presents appropriate information/comments (quotes) from individuals involved in event.
