Students will research information on an assigned topic and prepare a presentation to convey information to an assigned audience.

During Rotational Math Stations, students were to solve real life scenarios by using perimeter and area. * This rubric will be used to determine if students understand perimeter and area and can apply it to solving the given examples.

Poetry Portfolio: Types of Sounds , Patterns within Poetry.

Was the students able to identify characters and events within the two texts. Where students able to identify when their thinking started to change. Were students able to provide evidence from the text.

Working in groups of six students will work collaboratively on a presentation to the class based on Important Leaders and Documents from the 1700's when Colonies transitioned into States within New York based on each group member's interpretation. Each group will prepare an 8 to 10 minute presentation to the class on their topic. Each group presentation shall include a Chart Paper prepared by the group illustrating the group’s particular interpretation and an activity of their choice.
